Holy Nativity is committed to young people of this parish and in the wider community. Youth is one of our top priorities in ministry.

“Jesus said -Let the children come to me and do not hinder them.
The kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
Luke 18:16

Youth Mission Trip to Grenada -

In April 2010, our youth returned from an exciting trip to our companion diocese in St. George's, Grenada and assisted with a few service projects. They painted a school, did a chapel refurbishment, and fixed a playground for repair.

Details about this exciting program can be found on their Blog - http://www.holynativity.ca/youth

Our Youth Ministry “builds out” - as a parish we have three parts:

Sunday School: Grades Pre-K through to Grade 6 meet together during the 10 am service and learn under the guidance of our Sunday School Coordinator. The Seasons of the Spirit Curriculum is used along with other resources. Classes are relaxed, engaging and follow the readings used at worship.

Servers / Acolytes: Beginning at Grade 4 age, girls and boys are welcome to serve in worship on Sunday mornings as servers/acolytes. These acolytes assist in worship by carrying candles, carrying the cross and the Gospel book. They also assist at the Altar with preparation of the bread and wine for communion.
